PMS Shifter Location Vs Standard Shifter Location

I know the base of it is in the same location but is the PMS shifter throw/knob/shaft closer to the driver or is it in exactly the same position as the standard shift ?

Ah bugger, thanks. I thought as much. Oh well, time to move the shifter back.

@Tomotek has modified/moved further back the base of the gear stick...he shows it in his project thead if your interested in doing it?

Thanks, Yes i've seen that and it's far too specialised/complicated for me to do.

Can do what I did. About an inch and a half. Much less complicated.
