Polishing and Sealing Re-furbed Alloys

  Corolla T-Sport
I have just DIY re-furbed my 182 alloys, I used all Halfords paint and lacquer. How long do I need to wait before polishing and sealing? It's been a week since I sprayed the last coat of lacquer.

Cheers.

In general, you should leave them around a month before sealing, you can polish once you are confident they are dry

Not true. The lacquer he has used will be dry in 24 hours, truly hard in about 48-72. You're thinking about wheels that have been baked in an oven that require time before being sealed due to gas release.

OP you'll be fine after a week at the absolute max.
