Poly bushes??????

  Turbo Beige
I am about to fit H&R coilovers to my 182 and was going to fit a full polybush set at the same time. I have now been hearing loads of bad press about them on the Clio's though, and was wondering what opinions are on these compared to standard renault ones.

Which sections do you want to replace (subframes, tie bars, ARB bushes?)

Why are they considered bad? On any car i have owned the only downside has been additional road/RWD diff noise transmitted and a *slightly* harsher ride.

The benefits are better, more accurate turn in and control. This is why I am confused.

Aren't people whining about them squeaking when they 'dry out'. Wouldn't banging them in with a load of copper slip help/solve this?

I was considering doing the wishbone ones (think mine are on their way out, juddering understeer at really low speed on lock?? anyone confirm?)

i've got powerflex wishbone kit and it certainly makes steering more precise
but they need to be assembled with care, steel rings should be welded to the wishbone and greasing is a must
mine squeek like mad and recently one wishbone is falling off the steel ring and makes a beatyfull noise (needs welding and reassembling)
cheers
