Dealer is correct, need a new GB or the circlip will just keep popping on you.

Saying that when mine went the first time and i replaced the circlip, the second one lasted about 3 months, right time to trade the fucker in mate, i did

Depend what exactly failed. if the bearings have thrown themselves then new box is the only realistic option.
