Ported Head

Been stripping a track car I purchased last year to fit air con delete, sort a few bits. I have stripped the inlet manifold which is a k-tec ported one and found the front of the cylinder head looks like this.....

I know it's hard to tell from a photo, but does this look any good? I have very little history with the car, but it's quite clear the top end has had some work and cambelt has been changed at some point. I am yet to drive it, so could be interesting once it's back together.

That's how they are as standard mate.

Cheers for the reply. First time I have taken the lower off in all the time I have had 1*2's. I never knew that!

It's been machined from the factory.
