The local powder coaters have told me that they want £120 for powdering 15" wheels,
+40 for them in anthracite!!
total £160
does this seem expensive?
is anthracite normaly more expensive?

It is normally a set price for 'standard' colours...anthracite would be classed as a normal colour...unless they think that they can make more money from anthracite...so are charging an extra tenner a wheel...

where abouts are you in lincs? i pay £45 per wheel in Grimsby but that includes removing/refitting tyres, balancing/new valves and center caps colour matched. that price was for any basic colour, i went for gunmetal

I had the same quote in south yorks....metal magic.....any wheel upto 17" is £40 plus vat (48)
