power boost valve, ecotek

  (ex-2.0 Hybrid)CorradoVR6

Cat back exhaust decat and panel filter, would be my first port of call. Then maybe a pbv, depends on how its fueling.

a power boost valve can increase power if fuel pressure is deficient at a certain throttleangle/engine speed/pulsewidth.

You dont need either especially the ecocrap.

you cant fit it to an RT.

The MPI engines have external fuel pressure regulators.

On the SPI engines the regulator is infront of the injector, depending on the TB the regualtor is held in by 3 or 4 torx screws.

You can up the pressure by fitting a washer under the spring if you want.

I refer you to what I said before
You can up the pressure by fitting a washer under the spring if you want.

This will do what a FSE does except its not quite as adjustable.

As for upping power, make sure the things running correctly, clean everything. Change filters etc etc.

Only way then to increase power is by doing some serious work. Like porting the head etc

Power boost valve will help iron out flat spots caused by low fuel rail preasures, but they are notoriously difficult to set up!

Ecotek Ive heard lost of conflicting information about - and from what I can tell its basically making the fuel air ratio leaner...

Chip will give small gains in performance buy changing the timing of the injection...

Its dependswhat ur after...

Weight might be one to talk to judging by his performance at york...

Ecotec makes it leaner. PBV makes it richer. (Surely you can only have one?)

Just chip it. best way forward.
