power cable

hey guys

im currently installing my subs and amp system in my mk1 ph3 clio and have done all the necessary wiring apart from getting the power wire from the battery and back into the car could anyone please help in where i can put the wires through???

if you pop the bonnet, and go to passenger side, look behind the suspension strut, right back, on the bulkhead and youll find a large plasticy grommet, that looks a bit like this

dont think the rts have those cables running thru though

its 1997 m8 its a mk1 phase 3. i think i have finally found the grommet i need:

its where you said right behind the suspension strut passenger side, is this the grommet i need yeah?

thats the beauty! leads straight into the passenger footwell, behind the dash.

cheers m8 do i have to unscrew the grommet or do i jus make a hole in the centre to push the wires through?

push the grommet out, (cant remember if it pushes out or in) the grommet itself is two parts, just drill a hole through, big enough to get the cable through, feed some of the cable through, till its in the passenger footwell, and then try and refit, the grommet, bit of a fiddly job!
