Power cap fitting

help!
A mate has a cap he wants to fit, no instructions!

does it wire in effect in parallel with the battery, i.e. ground and power then on with the power to the amp!?! any diagrams or instructions be great!

Power caps dont really work thou mate, but thats upto your mate to fit it or not...

make sure you charge it first!!!

you wouldnt want to weld the power cable to it

awesome cheers guys! thats the site i just came across!!
hadnt heard of charging it before i saw that site! my mates gotta find somewhere to sort him with a resistor now! dont fancy his chances on a sunday!!

you can use anything 12v(a small festoon bulb is good) when the bulb goes out you know its charged
