Due the ridiculous amounts of rain we've been having atm it took me 3 hours to drive from Sunderland to Newcastle this morning. The majority of that in stop start conditions. I got bored so got google maps open and tried to find some alt routes (obv more fun!). found a potential country lane but half way along it was flooded. had to do about a 7 point turn and half way through it right near full lock the power steering started making funny noises then cut out completely and didnt come back on for the rest of the journey.
its working now and did all the way back home :S!!! any suggestions???
