As title my power sterring is make an awfull racket, it makes the engine kidn of knock the hotter the engine gets (I guerssing the fluid gets thinner so it gets noisier)
I and the previous owner have just had the all the belts and tensioners done
Ie at 63.000km's the timing belt tensioners etc were done.
At 65.000km's (yesterday) I had the aux belt and tensioners done.
The above aux belt was done to a mechanic saying it was worn and causing the noise, The nosie is still there and they reckon its the power steering pump??
Is there a cheap or easy way of fixing this asnow I am on a budget I dont mind buying new and have been quoted $525 shipped to my door, not sure if this is a good price as I still have to pay to have it fitted
I have read though that the return pipe gets blocked and can cause a noise could it be this?
When you get it on full lock and keep it on full lock it goes quiet??!!
