Power steering pump...

I have posted a few things regarding power steering however I think my PaS pump is on its way out, when at low speeds turning (like less than 10mps) it will wine/squeak like mad....is this the lump on its way out?
Also I have notice at my last track day it will do it now and again when going around a hair pin type corner?

It doesn't bother me if it does go I would just like to know will it be the pump making the noise or something else I need to worry about?
It's like a loud wining noise but as soon as I start going it goes!

No not the belt, it's more of a wining noise like say I put it on full lock and move it will be wining then as soon as I pull away or get moving it will stop, it doesn't affect the car just sounds like it's going to give up

EPAS all the way. I'm just in the middle of convincing my dad to go half's with me on the conversion and start sourcing parts..

I have a similar noise, like a whirr/supercharger noise, at low speeds. Im going to change the (currently black) fluid and see if that helps.
