I was recommended to use these guys by CraigM, bought two sets of Philips Silver Vision bulbs at 12.30ish yesterday, arrived today at 9.30am, free postage, excellent service in my eyes, also when i bought the two sets they gave me a set of Philips BlueVision side lights free.

Im having a similar coversation on another topic, I dont have a 2002 clio but from a conversation I have with another forum user he said that the bulbs twist out for the high beam. If its the same for the low beam the bulbs are HB4/9006 otherwise if they have those clips that retain the bulbs they are H7.

have a quick look now and tell your findings

Calling 2002- clio owners non 172s apart from cup

come on folk just a quick look under the hood, tell us or decribe the bulbs (twist fitment or clip), also see whether the bulb has a black tip (important)

The new shape clio uses H7 bulbs for dipped headlights - they are a bugger to fit unless you have small hands, even more of a pain to fit if your car has air con as the pipework gets in the way.

Sorry to disagree but its not H1 (The lanky looking bulb, maybe for the Mk2 Phase1), if anything its H7 or 9006, I will post a pic later.

thats because they are xenons for the 172 and initiale

I got a set of indicator ones but they didnt fit... if anyone wants them let me know.

The are two types of fitments:

- Offset pins

- Inl-ine pins

Check with your old bulbs and you might notice the pin alignment is wrong

The ones they sent are offset, I need inline... Too bad I guess... I could always swap if someone has another wrong set...

Mail order and it was ages ago (like last summer) before they were released in shops, I tried fitting them and they didnt fit but Id already opened them so I just put them in the opened box and forgot about them... Its a bit late to ask them for a swap now... lol

Yeah, Phillips sent me a set before they came out in the shops but they were the wrong kind, doh! Didnt think they made a lot of differance anyway, but if anyone else has the wrong type Id be more than willing to swap! lol

On the new shape Clio (2001&gt without xenon lights the bulbs are:

Side: W5W

Dipped: H7

Full/main beam: H1

Indicator: PY21W

I was presuming that 172 had exactly the same high beam bulb as the non-xenons (please refer to previous page and look at high beam bulb, H7 or 9006)
