Powerflex Wishbone Sleeve tak welds measurements ??

Ive had my lower wishbone sleeves tak welded and the bushes fiited but when ive come to fit them to the car there no where nere the righ position to line up with the subframe mounts.

It looks to me tha the sleeve has not been welded further enough along as the bush it about 5mm away from the inside of the arm on both sides and on some pictures i have seen here the bush is probably less than 1mm away from the inside of the arm.

any advise mesurements ?

I will have to give them back to steve to re-do if there wrong.

will go take another look at them now though

did you not test fit them before you tacked them in?

Fred i dropped them of with steve at Birchdown.

I took them off the car but i didnt have a press or anythink substancial to remove the old bushes at home so i gave him the complete arms with original bushes still in.

My car is up on axle stands so i will go measure the distance between the two locators now.

i just dint want to phone steve and look stupid before ive checked.

Theres about 5mm gap either side between the edge of bush and the inside of the arm and the picture of a powder coated installation looked like the bush is less than 1mm from the inside.

I'm not annoyed, steve going to be having my car soon to change PAS pump but obviously without the arms back on i can get it back together to take there

Ive just measured and its looks around 145mm between and on the welded couplings in place its 136mm
