Mine doesn't and it's a 98 mk2 ph1 1.2.

It's not a Grande or anything though. Just basic model.

They don't all have power steering .. girly at work has a W plate 1.2 and that doesn't ! Tho thinking about it, it barely has anything - no central locking / remote fob locking / engine... presumably the poverty spec one.

tbh i think its the mk2 ph2's that began to have powersteering and such as standard from the base models upwards.

Mk2 Ph1 Grande have power steering. Well mine does at least and its a Y reg
