Pre MOT check

  172 MKII FF
Hi,

I have my MOT due before next Saturday and seen as i'm off work thought i'd check the car over. I thought i'd start with the brakes first, they look ok to me but i'd appreciate it if anyone else could check the pictures for me. It would only allow me to upload 5 so the remaining three are here:

The following appear to be fine:

1. Lights - all work
2. Steering and suspension - doesn't seem to be a problem
3. Wipers/Washer - Water full, wipers working
4. Horn - Beeps
5. Seatbelts - all fasten
6. Fuel System - no leaks
7. Doors - all close correctly
8. Mirrors - present and working
9. Wheels - Appear ok but not sure on the rear ones
10. Brakes - see images

agree with the above. A common one which people forget is to remove any dangly air freshners and satnav holders from the windscreen etc... Tester would ussualy just pull them off themselves but you could get an anal one.

Failed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On hand brake not being tight enough and nearside rear tyre is split and classed as dangerous. At least it is nothing serious like emmissions or something (Like last year).

Oh and btw just realised there pics of the rear brakes as well, the rear pads aren't much thicker than that new so they've got loads of life left.
