Pre wash/ TFR

Hello geeks

Looking for a new Pre-wash soak type thing to go round the car before washing to soften bugs etc.

I used to have some Valet Pro Orange Crush which seemed to be pretty good, however this ran out the other month. Don't use snow-foam been there done that, bit of a gimmick imo ;)

So, i want something thats lsp safe really. Any suggestions or do i get some more Orange Crush or what ever it was called

Cheers

No such thing as a TFR that's LSP safe mate, PH neutral snowfoam would help but it still affects the wax over time.

You could use a snowfoam through a pump sprayer mate but to be honest i'd just pressure wash and use the 2 bucket method with s decent shampoo to preserve your wax.

Only use a pre-spray if you're doing a full detail and re-applying a wax. :)

Get some Werkstat prime and jett trigger for white mate. :)

It was a citrus de-greaser it might not strip your wax but it will affect it.

Feck using that on expensive wax layers, I use a pre-spray if i'm doing a detail.

Maintenence wash is PW plus 2 bucket method mate.

Hmmmmm. I'll probably plum for that again then. I wax every month over egp with what ever i have left which at the mo is Petes 53, or P21's lol. I'm not one to spend 100's on a wax really (dont see the point on a solid white?)

I know you boyz hate EGP, but I think its fine on White?

Its the age old bugs that does me, had a right pita with them today. I think a prewash softens them nicely?

Yeah they do mate but to be honest if your protection is doing it's job they should wash off with zero hassle.

Hmmm maybe i need to pay more attention to it. Usually wax one a month over a clean up with SRP/EPG. Tbf it does need a full clay/pc i just dont get the time :(

Nor does anyone mate.

Buy a nice glaze or something. See my recent thread. 1 hr give or take is all it took. ;)

Yeah if you're rewaxing once a month it'll make zero difference if you're using a pre-spray (dependent on the product)
