Preping for winter

  Mk4 .:R32
This is the first car I will have owned through winter that I actually give a sh*t about so wanna make sure everything is tip top like brake fluid, power steering fluid, oil change etc etc. Just after advice on how everyone else goes about this. I know some garages do a winter preping service, which is usually stuff you can do yourself:

^^ is that crap for 30 quid?

it'll be fine mate, just keep up your normal routine

i change my oil every 6k or so, top up when needed as well as checking fluids etc

keep an eye or your tyres and try to clean the salt off of then car as regularly as possible, pressure wash underneath etc etc

i've got a free safety check from the dealers through the post , plus a winter check wont go a miss tbh.
