What's the best grade of paper to use to smooth the chip? Got couple small ones I want to fix!

depends what process your using really , personally i would buzz all the chips with a DA sander with P80 grit then quickly smooth over with p400 then 2pac prime it all .
or if you rfilling them in with paint and flatting then 2000 grade sandpaper would be best .

p80 on stone chips? wtf lol

you dont want to break through the laquer if possible, personally, if theres very few chips, i go over them all with a quick p320, and put a tight skim of filler in them.

sand that off with p320 or some p800 wetordry, then you can primer them with cellulose.

if theres lots of chips id da the lot out with p180, then drop to p320 and prime.

p80 for stonechips is madness
