Private Plate / Road Tax Question

I bought a private plate from the DVLA and my Dad went to the DVLA office to transfer it on to the Clio for me today.

I got pulled over on the way home by an ANPR equipped police car. Obviously I had all the documentation to prove all was present and correct.

After looking over the car, I noticed the new tax disc has been extended by 2 months! It was due to expire at the end of March, it now says the end of May.

Has anyone else experienced this?

No, I think they've made a mistake.

Check online and see when it says your tax is due..

I dont understand what you mean by looking over the car, the tax disc is extended by two months?

It has a cross through March and now says May?

Or do you mean you bought a years tax in March, bit the disc says it expires in May? If so, i would do as above, if it says May, sorted.
