Privilege-Good or Bad Experience's!!

Just changed to Privilege Insurance. Quote was £150 less than Tesco, with 0% APR to pay monthly, lower excess' and the same cover!!

Whats your experience of them been like?

Generally fine. Expect exactly the same service as you would off directline as they are one and the same, when you get put through to departments such as claims they are identical offices answering calls under different names.

Had the odd issue with them, but generally sorted quickly and very cheap for insurance with the backing of RBS. (royal bank of scotland)

They're terrible. I waited 3 months for a 10K payout when I wrote my 306 off. Very unhelpful, and it only got sorted in the end because I did all the phoning/legwork between them and the financers. Amatuers imho.

Good service and reasonably cheap but the 2nd year renewal was more than the first.

I've now moved to another insurer.
