Pro Race 1.2s

Thinking of going light weight, seats out etc light weight wheels and so on, thinking about geting pro race 1.2s are they worth it over 182 alloys? and what finish looks better on these wheels on a silver car matt black or antharite ?

I went from 182 cup wheels to pro race 1.2s. (15")

If you're thinking of going light weight then get them, or something similar. You wont believe how heavy the 182 wheels are!

Depends on what you like. If you want a nice looking set of wheels, don't get them. Light, but the quality and finish is generally poor. Seen plenty with poor lacquer and finish.

I have Rota Sepc R's on mine and they weigh about 6.9kg which is quite light! Look nice in anthracite too

Pro race are pretty light, 5.6kg in 7x15 iirc? As warren said though, quality isn't great. I was going to get these but decided against it because of the poor finish.

Yes. Cheaper tyres and better performance in a nutshell.

oh right only problem with that is im going to get arch gap back again and that will mean geting it lowerd was a waste of money lol !?

If your worried about that, there is a thread in the media section on this and the arch gap is not as bad as i would have thought when they are on eibach sportlines

Have a set of 1.2's on my C4 they are in an 18x8 version.

However as said the quality of the finish can be poor. Need to get mine refurbed soon, the lacquer started to flake off.

You'll get 50 profile tyres so the arch gap will be more or less identical.

Please don't bring up the 15's are better argument again! Lol. They are better, in every way.
