Problem downloading music.

When I go to download music the first couple of songs will download but the rest will not. A cloud icon appears next to the song then. When the cloud is present it seems impossible to restart the download. How do I get rid without a computer?

Anyone have any tips for this?
If I find a hard wired PC on this rock and get itunes installed. Will it allow me to link my ipad without deleting pictures and apps?

I've noticed the same while downloading! Keep your finger on the cloud icon instead of just tapping and they should start downloading.

I'm back on uk soil, anyone with this issue email apple. They do something they're end that allows the files to download straight off with no errors
