Problem on Dash

Hello,

your help is needed please i have a 172 mark2, the problem is that when indicating the rear fog light indicator on the dash board flickers, it also does it when i brake or put the car in reverse as well

Can anyone help - i think it might be a earthing problem

If the rear fog light is actually flickering on and off too (get someone to stand behind and check) then its almost certainly a bad earth, or a faulty bulb that is upsetting the rest.

i have the same problem with mine but only when i break it comes on wen its been raining

nice and dodgy MCsteveie reminds me of my festa good and bodge all the wireing on that shed was crap

Sounds like water getting in somewhere round the cluster.
