Problem when idleing

Hi all,

I'm not down with all of the technical lingo i'm afraid but i've noticed that when i'm stationary at some traffic lights or the like, my 54reg 182 feels like it's about to stall, revving just below 1k.

How many revs should my motor by doing when idleing? Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem, it's starting to do my head in.

Nothing at all to worry about.

Just below 1k is healthy.
