Problem with electric windows mk2 clio

Hey,

I got a strange problem with my electirc windows on my clio.

Went to put the passenger side window last nite, and heard a bang noise, and the window then refused to go up.

It goes down fine using the switch, however when you try and put it up you can hear the motor whiring but the window doesnt go up?

Any ideas?

Not sure what the problem is, but this may be of some help?

the problem is your window regulator the wire has snapped in it itl hold the window up and will go down but with no wire in it then it wont pull the window back up
