problem with internet/firefox/pc settings.

I was on the bbc news website a few days ago when i right clicked on one of their pictures in a news story to link up and view it for a thread on cs.

Now, whenever i go on the bbc news website not one picture is viewable. nothing there. not even the spaces for the pictures.

the video player for certain stories is always there but just no jpeg pictures etc.

have i accidently stopped the bbc news website from showing me pictures through firefox? all pics work fine on other sites.

any help please! doing my nut in as i go on the bbc news website all the time.

Does it do it in Internet Explorer and Firefox? Try both to rule out if it is browser specific. If it does it in both do you have any firewall software as this can do it?

Also try do a full empty on the Cache, all data etc

Also in Firefox go to Tools, then Options, then click on Content. Make sure display images is ticked and click on the Exception button and ensure the BBC website has not been added to it. if it has delete it

Also in FireFox, check that the page style is set to 'Default' and not 'none'

Have you clicked 'Low bandwidth version' by mistake? If you clear your cookies it will sort that out

this worked. somehow the bbc news website had got on the blocked list. odd. my hero to the rescue though

in my version it isn't there, but im sure in some old version of firefox there used to be 'block all images from this host' on the right click menu. must have done it by mistake.

Its still there on mine, at the bottom of the right click menu above properties
