Liquid Yellow R27

I've just fitted a set of In Phase component speakers into my 182 with the help of a friend. The left tweeter doesn't work when plugged into the left crossover box in the 'tweeter' section. It works fine when plugged into the 'input' section, but that just defeats the purpose of component speakers as the cross over box isn't filtering out the music then.
Do you think it's the one crossover box that's broken and that I need to get a new one? It's strange as the input is fine as the door speakers work fine in the 'woofer' section on the box.
Any ideas or should I just get in touch with where they were purchased from and request a new crossover box?
