problem with reverse (willy)

this has just started to happen and only happens sometimes. when i try to go into reverse it is really hard and makes a grinding sound. any ideas thanks

alll willy boes and valver boxes go like this eventually nothing wrong just the they are

a trick jas taught me was when reversing put the car in first first then straight into reverse= no more grinding reverse

Stop the car; first then reverse as Wongy says.
