Problems with 1.2 radiator fan

Basically, when i turn off my engine after a journey my fan turns on and stays on for about five minutes is this normal because ive only just noticed it. Cheers!

You've most likely got an earth issue OR a coolant temp sensor fault - Not really something I can advise on without seeing the vehicle i'm afraid.
