Problems with Electric windows

Can anyone shed some light on a problem a have with my drivers side electric window.

The window will go down on the switch but wont come back up

I have replaced the switch mechanism and no better??

Any Ideas???

The slider which the windwo goes up and down on is probably brobken can get new ones form ebay etc for £60. then about an hour to fit,.

Is this the whtie bit of plastic that sits the rubbers of the door? as in to guide the window?

Have checked all those and appear intact
