Probs with Windows media player

Hello,

I am trying to watch a video I have downloaded and lately media player is hacking me right off. If I go to a selected video or even music file and double click on it to open it up with media player as this is my default program I can hear the sound of the video, but no picture in fact it doesnt even go to the media player full stop. Then I have to select the media player from the windows start menu??

Now I also have Nero 8 with nero showtime. If I select showtime as the default player and then double click the video I want to play it opens up fine with show time. What's going on with my media player anyone???

Download VLC Media Player... and never have a problem again!

nah you should be able to get it working without installing another player. do you have a monitoring program or a G15 keyboard? cause i've had that issue before.

In the options is the media file type one that is set up? If not you can just select it. I use Winamp, never have problems.
