process to inform DVLA of chaning engine

hi all - have had a new engine for a while now but never got round to informing DVLA of the new number... oops... Spose id better do it... What things do i have to do? - Do i ONLY need the old engine number and the new engine number and thats it?... the VIN would remain unchanged wouldnt it?

It's all in the V5 iirc

Cheers - ill dig it out... i did have a bit of paper somewhere with the number on it, IF ive lost it then where on a cup 52 plate would i find the engine number?

can't help on that one, ut what I can say after having a quick read of the V5, is all you need to do is put the new engine number in Section 7 and then fill out the Declration (Section 8) and send that off

ive had the same on my 182, brand new engine all for free just put the new engine number in the v5 doc and post to dvla
