hi im just wondering what is the best products out there for washing, polishing and waxing. im not happy with the state of my car and need to do something about it. cheers

Worth doing a search there are a fair few lists on this forum, opinions differ from user to user though.

My normal processes.

Wash and clay as needed.

Duragloss Wash or Meguiars Shampoo Plus or Hyperwash
Lambswool Mitt
Meguiars or Sonus Clay
Decent Drying Towel.

Then either

1 - Working by hand.

Megs Scratch X as required
Autoglym Super Resin
Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection or Jeffs Acyrlic Jett Trigger Selant
P21s, Vics Concours or Swisswax Onyx on depening on budget - Swissvax Saphir or Best of Show on a larger budget.

2 - working by machine

Machine polish with Menzerna as required.
Autoglym Super Resin
Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection or Jeffs Acyrlic Jett Trigger Selant
P21s, Vics Concours or Swisswax Onyx on depening on budget - Swissvax Spahir or Best of Show on a larger budget.


Wheels - wash and dry, depdning on the brake dust build up; Meguiars APC, AG Engine and MAchine Cleaner or in deperate times Wonder Wheels!

Polish and Seal with AG SRP and AG Extra Gloss Protection.

Tyres - Blackfire Gel or Poorboys Bold and Bright.

Trim Smooth - AG Vinyl and Rubber or Einszett Vinyl and Rubber

Textured Trim - AG Bumper Care Gel.
