Had a bash on the ps4 version this evening. It's much better than the xbox version.

Didn't notice any lag, controller integration is infinitely better. Tempted to buy a ps4.

That vid Nik put up looks incredible though, the quality of the graphics give a sense of speed and accuracy the consoles just don't look like they get near, I need to have a go I guess, but videos of this on console just make it look like a new Gran Turismo game.

I have a PS4, so maybe, but Witcher 3 is gonna take up my time from Monday anyway.

Look forward to the patch if ps4 is that much better then :smile:. Won the Junior Ginetta championship tonight and have moved onto the GT4 with an Aston. Had the choice of Formula C also but didn't fancy open wheel yet. Even with the flaws this game pulls me in a lot.

Also with the videos on xbox I think the upload studio thing really kills the quality when you upload it tbh, looks terrible on the TV with the big screen. Watch the replay in game its fine but in upload studio its crap.

Going to wait and see what the update brings. But having played it on ps4, if the update isn't up to scratch I'll just get a ps4.

Another really good race i had at Silverstone,was behind the leader for most of the race with also 3rd & 4th closely behind...the vid is of the last few laps,as you can see i was pushing hard at the very end trying to take the win! the car was on 2 wheels at one point :smile:

I've got a 29" Ultra Wide monitor, so should be perfect for this, but my desk has a drawer where you sit, so worried I won't be able to mount a wheel anywhere? Not interested in playing with a pad.

Anyone who has the assists set to 'real' just in case you didn't know that doesn't mean assists are off for every car. I turned all mine off manually. Much better when you have to control the throttle rather than just hammering it.

They heavily criticised the standard circa 2006-2008 and onwards, stated it would die and that they would not support it. Even when nVidia offered initiatives to work with them to develop the platform. They pledged their support for something else (which escapes me now). Sure, I still think it's a poor show but hopefully performance issues can be sorted. I also hope that AMD performance issues aren't too bad seeing as it's AMD hardware in both the PS4 and the Xbox One.

Fantastic wheel, no problems with it what so ever. Its brushless so its quiet and the only noise that eminates from it is the fan when it gets warm, which can't be heard until you turn the sound off. I don't however know where you're going to get one unless you go on the Thrustmaster website.

Finished my first clio cup season yesterday. Assists were on real and AI set to 80.

Going to knock assists off this time and move ai to 90 or 100 as it was a bit easy on previous settings.

I do think DX12 will be better for red and green mate. The fundamental changes to the architecture really does open up the doors for being able to exploit the hardware so much better. Sadly - whichever 'side' you look at / prefer - one will always try to get one up on the other; whether through proprietary API's, extensions and/or features or supporting formats with a view to disrupting the other. I do feel AMD have one or two things up their sleeves for when DX12 launches (or shortly thereafter) but it will be interesting to see how things develop. I'm actually excited for DX12. It really is quite cool and offers some cool features, assuming developers are afforded the time and resource to write and develop the lower-level boilerplate stuff needed to take maximum advantage of the API and architecture changes.

The racing is so tight in the game, it's brilliant.

The replays look awful, mine included, with joy pad. Twitchy steering. The steering wheel does look to transform the game.
