I'd go for white turini's if you're going to change from silver, it'll work with the stripes better than anthracite will.

I think you should leave the wheel silver after seeing the car yesterday - makes it look different from all the rest. Think my Oz's are going to stay silver too. When you getting the coilovers on then?

so what's your 'particular aim' ? not having a direct pop at you, but going through all these threads i seem to have lost what's defined as a project thread - doing a 172 engine transplant into a valver - yes; creating a full on track orientated 172 - yes; thats the point i'm trying to make - perhaps wrongly in your thread though!

A project is very subjective. I think any members car, that is having/has had alterations from standard counts as a project. Whether they're all worthy of thread is another matter.
Schweppy's has had a fair few changes, so deserves a thread imo.

**************UPDATE**************
OK, bit of an update to my "project" thread that got moved coz apparently it isnt a project.
Anyways, first things first. MAHOOOOOOOSIVE thanks to Jay (Burp) for his blood, sweat, tears and especially time today. He spent alot longer on the car than was originally planned so thanks very much JAY!
First thing to go on was my new Scorpion decat.
Sounds PHat now and pops away nicely!
Secondly, we put on new front brake discs and pads and bled the system all round. Has made a massive improvement on pedal feel.
Finally and most importantly, Jay fitted my FK Konigsport Coilovers. They have been set up to the same height as Jay's track sl*g and are having camber/toe setup in the morning. I have only driven on them for the half hour journey home from Jays but i am very impressed with the ride so far as I thought they were going to be fairly harsh. Dampening was set to half way and they are not much harsher than the standard suspension. The car now handles corners like it should from standard absolutely awesome!
Oh and i know the car is filthy. Just need to find some spare time to clean it for RWS on Saturday!

Both probably lol. Its much better now as we raised it about 10mm at the front to make it similar in setup to Jays. May remove the arch liners but it only happens on full lock.

how can you fit FK's if your car is 182 cup... i thought with 182 cup's/cup packed 182's you could only get H&R's ? :s
