Prolines or Sportlines?

I'm going to change my springs at some point in the near future, purely for handling purposes and not for appearance/lowering.

Looking at threads on here I've decided to go for Eibach springs, they get good reviews and are relatively cheap.

Now I just need to decide between the two. Would I be right in thinking that Sportlines are more for appearance in lowering the car rather than handling (although improving the handling somewhat) wheras Prolines are purely for improving the handling?

While on the subject I've been thinking of changing the dampers too, mainly thinking of just changing like for like i.e. just new Renault ones. However, are there any different/better ones people recommend that are similar in price to standard Renault shocks/dampers?

By the way, I have an '02 model 172. Many thanks!

I've had both. I'd go for pro's if your not desperate to lower the car. They improve the handling without hurting the ride.

There's loads of threads on here mate; have a search around.

But, yeah, for handling improvement and no change in appearance the Pro's are the ones to go for.

I have prolines

- improved handling
- lowers slightly as well, the wheels sit better in the arch, people have commented on them and asked if its been lowered

I didnt have cup springs though, Iv read they dont lower as much if you have the cup pack

So go for Pros!!
