What are the advantages/disadvantages of getting an exhaust from Prospeed rather than an off the shelf exhaust from BBPT/KTec??

For a 182....

Wrong section matey but anyway....
Prospeed (any custom job) are made to fit not designed specifically for the 182 whereas the BBPT/AWT/Orbisound have gone through hundreds of tests to maximise performance.

The blueflame is value for an off the shelf exhaust IMHO.

There are a few threads with more technical details about the pro's and con's in the technical section..

Prospeed are custom made by charlie, great quality, look good and sound even better. You wont be dissapointed with his work. I have a full system for sale if your interested? I know i can't say to much in here about it. so pm me if you want to know more.

I was prepared for the wrong section line.
I don't believe it is. Its not a mechanical question, and I'm after opinions hence Discussion Forum was used......

By anyway, thanks for the info. Just debating the pros and cons of the exhaust an offer at present....

Its a technical question though...
But i'm not going to get nitty,gritty... Prospeed have a good record of producing quality products just don't expect any gains,it will look and sound nicer but for any performance gains big $$ is needed.

I got some good gains from a prospeed so don't be put off.

Depends on how much you want to spend, I think £700 on an exhaust is daft on a clio tbh, so little opertunity for big gains.

you'll be lucky to get much of a gain from any exhaust on a 2.0 clio!

my prospeed just helps with the revs, a lot freeer and i notice a little change but that could be the decat. iirc the supersprint gives a little gain but most are too g a y to put up with it. you'll need other mods to help out.
