Prospeed?

Hey guys owner of a 182 and am looking to get new exhaust fitted just wondering if anybody here has had one done at prospeed in cardiff?

If so what are the prices like and anybody happen to have a video or a recording i can have a listen to? Im looking for a sort of raspy / throaty / racey sounding exhaust .... :S lol as you can tell im not the best at descriptions .

nor sure for the 182 , but loads on her have had their 172's done there me included

hmmm quite a nice sounding exhaust there. Would have been better if he made one on the move as well see how it sounds between switching gears etc.

Also the wind is distracting lol . I went to Longlife for my previous exhaust on me MG ZR (yes i know MG) was alrite sounding bit to damn loud tho headache on the motorway owch. :rasp:

i just phoned prospeed this morning for a quote on a cat back system and 100cell sports cat for my ph1 172 and got quoted 560, which i think is a good price and ive heard good reports about them.

Probably gonna book it in for next week

they are awsome... plus life-time guarentee! I wanted one that was louder than the standard and not chavvy and what i got was perfect!

Yer not a bad price at all really have to save me pennies tho working part time wile studying so budget is a little tight lol. I live really close so i think i might pop down there on the weekend see what they recommend, if you go on the gallery on there website looks like they have done quite a few 182's n a couple of V6's mmmm .

yea no problem mate. possibly this weekend ill get it done. and pm you a link. There is no air filter on the car... completely standard apart from the exhaust. it came with a decat which I sold, because he modified the standard cat on the 182 so that there is a 2.5" all the way though.

lovely guy and lovely service and people praise them on here.. I had mine done there and had quite a few problems with it over the following 18 months... a number of garages commented on the poor quality of it whilst being up on the ramps during the few times it went wrong... Maybe mine was a one off bad job... didnt help i travelled from herts to cardiff on FA cup final day tho at cardiff stadium!

Floodie - ahh sorry to hear about your exhaust having problems i guess evry1 does a botch job now and then mind. Have you got it sorted now? :dead:
