protect carpets

i had the idea to go down to my local carpet dealer today and see if they had any off cuts that they didnt want, i bought a bit 2m x 2m, i then made templates of my car carpet (where mats would go) out of cardboard, then i cut out the carpet in the correct shape, attatched velcro to the back and put it in my car, i though this was quite a good solution to keep your carpets in good condition and so you dont ruin car mats

lol, my diy jobbie dont matter if i get snow and s**t inside so i can chuck them away in spring

thats a good idea may have to try that one, i got some ground in shitte in mine that will remove it
