No idea what it is, bought it second hand probs a year ago.

I don't actually understand why you need the hard drive lol.

go on youtube and try a self fix ( Yellow light of death means your hard drive has snapped out of place )

No it doesn't.

I fixed mine a few times by re-soldering parts on the mainboard, but it only lasts so long. Give up and get a new one I'm afriad!

Fixed it, using the heatgun method, no idea how or why it works, but it has!

It will probably re-join the connections on the mainboard, it will only be as temporary fix more than likely

I give it two weeks max.

My first repair lasted around 7-8 hours of usage.

Second time around double that.
