I've just watched the presentation of the Nintendo Wii controller and how it works in Zelda. Pure genius, even the controller makes sound so you get depth of sound in the game.

Could not stand the gamecube pad though didnt like the button layout at all.

Have you seen the MS presentation on how Xbox live will integrate with Vista, PC games, and mobiles etc? Amazing stuff.

Not see it yet. Not really a fan of vista and the whole possibility of needing a new bloody monitor due to DRM etc. Think thats a BAD move.

Like the PS3 isnt the bluray codec actually an MS codec so sony basically has to pay MS royalties for it? Sure i read something like that.

I think this is really bad for Sony. I have seen more screenshots and more video's and it ain't looking good.

Have any of you been on any games forums? Last week all the PS3 fanboys were getting ready to give 360 owners a hammering but the silence now is deafening.

In fact it has been a roll reversal as if anything the PS fanboys are having to defend against claims of it being less powerful than the 360.

Losing exclusivity on GTA is the least of Sony's worries. This was going to happen anyway as the cost of developing games means that exclusive third party titles won't be viable in most cases.

The real problem for Sony is that they are releasing a console that can only claim to be "as powerful" as a 360 but their games will all be first wave stuff that doesn't exploit the system. Meanwhile MS are releasing second wave games that have had an extra year of development to exploit the hardware and some are looking fecking amazing.

Furthermore if PS3 flops I reckon HD DVD will win the format wars and that would mean serious losses.

Fortunately I think their arse will be saved by Joe Six-Pack buying the console by the bucket load.

How ironic, Sony had their superior betamax system killed off by the dumbest of dumb a$$ consumers and now 25 years on those same smacktards are going to save them!

Yup, bloke in the street will buy the PS3 over anything else, and due to the Japanese not buying the 360 also Sony will have the biggest market share still.

Never liked the res games.
Starwars on the pube is a 1 button wonder. Esp the walking sections.

I've never liked the Res games either, but 4 is nothing like the rest of the series, you should give it a go mate. The PS2 version is almost as good, but comes with some extras to make up for it's low quality visuals compared to the cube version.

Couldn't agree more Lee. I've still got my pocket Donkey Kong in its orange and brushed aluminium casing from about 1982. Stick two new watch batteries in and away she goes. My m8 Steve bought the follow up (Donkey Kong Jn.?) in that brown and cream casing. Always jealous of that one....
