Tbh, you probably have more friends who own a Xbox and are online to play games with than the PS3.
PS3 has a browser (which you probably have on your PC) but Xbox doesn't have this.
Xbox has more good games available however PS3 doesn't have this.
PS3 has a bluray player, but Xbox doesn't have this.
That said, just buy a bloody Xbox just for Forza 3. /END

If you want racing games at the moment the xbox has the pick of the bunch on consoles. You get the multiplats that the PS3 has, the joypad is far better for driving games and the exclusive titles in this case Forza is actually out and got rave reviews, vs GT which is still some way off and yet to be proven.

Xbox controller is much better when you get used to it. LIVE is worlds apart from PSN and more than worth it for 12 months, if you buy the right Xbox (Jasper Elite) they are just as quiet as the PS3. If you know where to look you can also get 12 months LIVE for only £25.99

Also, Live can be had for as little as £20 on eBay, that is less than £2 a month, hardly going to break the bank over the course of the year and for what it offers, is great value in my humble opinion.
Coming from a PC background I would probably guess you would prefer a 360, although you will be over the moon with both for pick up and play gaming.

Most people I know are PC orientated, but until my PS2 died I've always been a console guy.
I've heard good things about Forza, but having had a PS1 and 2, it's hard to change habits.
It seems to be one of those very subjective things.

Why would that be a wind up?? :S PS3 pad just feels right, maybe because ive been using it for about ten years as its the same as PS1 and PS2.
If it aint broke don't fix it. You must have some big sausage fingers.

Habit does not make it a good thing. I find the PS1 (sorry PS3 ) pad feels too small, triggers are pap, joysticks have less feel and are poorly positioned and the pad doesnt sit as well in your hands. It was good in its day but the pad is in desperate need of a rework considering it was born in an age where D pad ruled and sticks were viewed as a new gimmick.
I've got both machines and my PS3 rarely gets switched on.

Ironically it's my PS3 that sounds like it needs to go in for repair despite it rarely being used vs my xbox which gets battered constantly.

I don't need a high horse I'm f**king tall anyway, yes I edited my post it doesn't change the fact I had one for a bit ?
PC's kick both of their arses to next month anyway but most people wont invest in a pc because they cost too much.
Also I've never had an issue with my elite and my old premium I bought at release all those years ago is still going strong for my brother.

Good choice, PSN is sh*te, all of my friends have 360s, I'm the only one with a PS3 also, I think that's quite a common theme as the 360 dominates the online gaming scene thanks to LIVE and a better availability of key games. The PS3 fanboys will argue that until they are blue in the face, but its b****cks.

I've heard good things about Forza and have made the decision mainly on that tbh.
I like this package as it seems to have everything and Asda are doing it for £10 less than Game. :approve:
The only fanboy here is you with such poor arguments both live and PSN have their strong points and if you can't see that maybe take the blinkers off!
