LOL. No. It's not perfect. It wasn't perfect in 1995 and it's certainly not now. You need to add some trigger extensions that came free with a magazine to use it properly.

The 360 controller is almost identical in feel to the Dreamcast. lol.

Lol at the controller. Anyone who prefers it to anything else in the world must have some seriously grotesque gaming claws.

Think my PS3 will come on one final time for The Last of Us and then it'll go back to where ever I've left it. Still haven't found it

I did adda slight edge of sarcasm to the controller comment but, in honesty, I do prefer it to the X-Box version. Probably just down to familiarity though, having been a Playstation fanboi since Tekken 1.

The rear triggers are fine unless you've got no 2nd knuckles in your fingers, the proportions are decent, I can't see what the problem is, it's not as if it's a Jaguar pad! :)

Until six months later when the central analog stick had all the resistance of an old boob.

Plus, if you ever threw them on the floor in a rage, one of the three 'prongs' it was made from would always snap off. lol

My N64 controller had some serious abuse. I used to love the fact you had to buy the rumble pack lol. Expensive past time back then as well, 50 quid for the game, then another 30 for the expansion pack if you needed it.

Mario 64 + N64 controller is one of the best combos in all time though, fact

I used to stick a rubber pad on top of the N64 stick, as it got all slippery when my thumb started weeping during a super stressful 'just need another 0.001s' Wave Race 64 time trial.

The PS3 had a massive advantage for sales when it first came out because stand alone blu-ray players were so expensive.

That's not the case anymore and people who want to be able to play games quickly and easily, will just buy an xbox.

WAVE RACE!

I can't wait to dust off the N64 now. Seriously beats any console I've had since!

I've never actually been on a PS3, but I've always said I'll get one to play that heavy rain game and uncharted/resistance etc

Was supposed to be getting one for GT5 but, what a massive flop that was.

Lol, this.

Although I used to get sweaty palms playing Goldeneye.

I'm sorry but I don't get why everyone loves xboxs so much, since I've had a ps3, the xbox has barely been switched on. Yeah, the controller is more ergonomic but the buttons are awful (far too slow for fighting games etc). Blu ray player works well imo, and the slim isn't noisy at all. Does the xbox even have a web browser? I know it didn't when I had XBL.

Errr what? A flop in whos eyes?

Everybody's? It was awful!

Edit. It probably sold really well with the anticipation of it being good after the long ass production. It was then probably the most traded in game of the year.

Strange, don't know why that would be.

As I said, I've never had a problem with connection speeds that wasn't due to the connection itself. Maybe there's some settings on your router or the PS3 itself which are causing your speed problem, but I couldn't comment.
