PS3 - seriously s**t.

LOL. No. It's not perfect. It wasn't perfect in 1995 and it's certainly not now. You need to add some trigger extensions that came free with a magazine to use it properly.

The 360 controller is almost identical in feel to the Dreamcast. lol.

I did adda slight edge of sarcasm to the controller comment but, in honesty, I do prefer it to the X-Box version. Probably just down to familiarity though, having been a Playstation fanboi since Tekken 1.

The rear triggers are fine unless you've got no 2nd knuckles in your fingers, the proportions are decent, I can't see what the problem is, it's not as if it's a Jaguar pad!

That's one of the few games I wish I'd kept my PS3 for. It looks great!

My N64 controller had some serious abuse. I used to love the fact you had to buy the rumble pack lol. Expensive past time back then as well, 50 quid for the game, then another 30 for the expansion pack if you needed it.

Mario 64 + N64 controller is one of the best combos in all time though, fact

The PS3 had a massive advantage for sales when it first came out because stand alone blu-ray players were so expensive.

That's not the case anymore and people who want to be able to play games quickly and easily, will just buy an xbox.

I've never actually been on a PS3, but I've always said I'll get one to play that heavy rain game and uncharted/resistance etc

I'm sorry but I don't get why everyone loves xboxs so much, since I've had a ps3, the xbox has barely been switched on. Yeah, the controller is more ergonomic but the buttons are awful (far too slow for fighting games etc). Blu ray player works well imo, and the slim isn't noisy at all. Does the xbox even have a web browser? I know it didn't when I had XBL.

Provided you've got a connection that works, yes.

It'll stream HD iPlayer and stuff like that, so it's all connection dependant

Other than the obvious BluRay player, there is not a single field which PS3 excels in over the Xbox.

It isn't though. That's my point. Everything else in my house manages to connect at decent speeds. I have a 50mb pipe. The PS3 does not utilise it. Never has. Wired or wireless.

Strange, don't know why that would be.

As I said, I've never had a problem with connection speeds that wasn't due to the connection itself. Maybe there's some settings on your router or the PS3 itself which are causing your speed problem, but I couldn't comment.
