PS3 Worth getting to sell on?

Is it worth getting a PS3 to sell on to make a little cash? Or will supply out strip demand hence no additional re-sale value?

You had to do that 4 months ago when they were like hen's teeth even in Japan

A guy I know made a fair few quid when the 360 was released. Personally I couldn't be arsed with the hassle in ordering a few then posting them out etc...Also I guess Christmas fueled the 360 prices on ebay when it was released.
