psp browing problem

i cant connect my psp to my router .iv'e entered the ssid, as far as i know i dont have securiy settings on my router.when i try to test connection it says

a connection error has occured
the WLAN switch is not turned on.

any help??

oops read the manual found out the switch id on the side of the psp lol
