psp help!

got a psp for xmas from play.com

all is fine with it apart from the fact the main manual is in japaneese!

surely they will send me a english one when they reopen?!

Dean have you registered it on www.yourpsp.com?

Mine is in Japanes but it's a Japanese model! Do me a favour, take the battery out and see what PSP number yours is. It's in the top right corner behind the battery and should be PSP-100x

Apparently Jap screen and build quality is better though, and we can play import games :rasp:

{edit} Actually, all PSPs are universal as UMD disks apparently have no region encoding on them...

im not that botherd about it being jap!

its just the manual, i know u can do loads of things with them, but im not to handy with all that kinda s**t so id need the manual!

the manual will be on the sony site if you really need it.
Thats all my mates have done in the past with their jap import ones, lucky them I say, as I've got a US import one with the not so great LCD screen, and I've got a few dead pixels.

Shall replace the LCD screen on my own when it gets really bad thou.

The only thing will be that you can only play movies of Japans region, which is 2 (same as UK).

Mines a region 1 but it still plays region 2 UMD movies, without the need for third party software
