PSP Homebrew???

Ive heard this has gone to new levels with bigger memory sticks coming out and psone games is this true?any information on it, ive never done it before so any information is good information

Right ive looked through the forums and still massively confused, my psp is running firmware 2.60, and ive got gta?

i cant do proper hombrew can i?without downgrading?

just get the latest dark_alex firmware (google it)

does everything you need on them

you can downgrade the 2.6 to 1.5, then run devhook 5.1 or 5.2

all you need to do is flash with the dark_alex firmware and its job done!

some of the later firmwares cannot be flashed though, but I dont know off hand which ones they are!

ive busted onto 1.5 > 3.02 oe-b apparantly this is the best one for psx games

What the hell is homebrew?

My dad used to put this sack of ale behind the telly 3 weeks before crimbo but I suspect this is not the case.

Can I brew myself up a psp? Add some circuits boards, 10 pints of water and leave for 3 weeks?

I don;t understand all this and could do with a bit of explanation in non geek speak!

I've got a Jap PSP currently on version 3.03

I've just downloaded the downgrader but haven't yet installed it as i need to know what to do after to get this dark alex gizmo. Anyone got an easy to follow guide please?!

OK, i got it all updated to the latest 3.10 OE-A software, now i just need to know what to do to get the most out of it!

If anyone can pm me with any advice it would be much appreciated

ive got gran turismo 2 on mine and fuckin love it!hadnt touched my psp for like a yr and now its back!!!ill pm ya the links spirez if i can find them!
