ptfe gaskets

hi all, im getting my inlets done tommorow and ive bought some ptfe gaskets for it, i know they stop heat transfer to the mani, resulting in cooler intake temps, but surely if they do that than the engine wont be dissipating its heat as easily? therefore running hotter?
am i right? what are your thoughts on this?

It wont run any hotter as it regulates its temperature via the thermostat.

So if I've got them I may aswell get them fitted?

yeah as long as the holes in the gaskets aren't too small for your matched inlets.
