Fitted some new "Red Stuff" Pads this morning, car now pulls to the left under harder braking. I was thinking it may resolve itself after a little use, but it was quite unnerving.
are the discs also new? and have you bedded the pads in already?
you're likely to find one wheel locking before the other but if it's pulling noticeably to one side or the other before locking, could be you've an imbalance between the calipers - check pistons/sliders are both free. bunch of other stuff that could be causing it, but that seems most likely on the face of it (assuming the pads and discs are OK)
Discs are not new but have very minimal wear, pads are no fully bedded in yet.
one wheel is locking before the other, i only fitted them this morning and went on a very short drive braking gently but once or twice i applied the brake quite hard and the left front locked before the right.
I will check the pistons and sliders, i have a feeling it is the slider on the right hand wheel.
